D-Luciferin and X-Gluc
Substrate for the ATP dependent luciferase assay. The luciferase/luciferin assay system is one of the most sensitive reporter gene assays. The emission peak of lumineszenz is 562 nm.
X-Gluc (5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indoly-β-D-glucuronide)
Substrate for the detection of β-glucuronidase. The indoxyl will be oxidized to the insoluble indigo. β-Glucuronidase is used as an alternative to CAT and X-Gal, if the plant has no endogenous β-glucuronidase activity.
