Reverse Transcriptases
The peqGOLD M-MuLV Reverse Transcriptases (RT) possess RNA- and DNA-dependent polymerase activity. They are genetically modified and differ from wildtype M-MuLV RT by its structure, catalytic properties and in the optimum activity temperature. Activity is optimal at 42 °C and hence above wildtype enzyme. Elevated temperatures reduce effects of secondary template structure. For first strand cDNA synthesis up to 13 kb. The enzymes incorporate modified nucleotides (e.g. Cy3, Cy5, fluorescein) Two M-MuLV versions H Plus and H Minus are available as individual enzymes or complete kits including all components required for first strand cDNA synthesis. The peqGOLD RNase inhibitor for the inhibition of RNA degradation is included in the kits but can be ordered separately as well.
- peqGOLD M-MuLV H Plus Reverse Transcriptase with RNase H activity which is significantly lower than that of Avian Myeloblastis Virus (AMV) RT.
- peqGOLD M-MuLV H Minus Reverse Transcriptase without RNase H activity and therefore high yields of full-length cDNA from long templates are obtained.
- peqGOLD cDNA-Synthesis Kit H Plus including all components required for first strand cDNA synthesis.
- peqGOLD cDNA-Synthesis Kit H Minus including all components required for high yield first strand cDNA synthesis.
- peqGOLD RNase Inhibitor for the inhibition of RNA degradation
